AwakeTeams is a collaborative learning platform that upskills employees in critical interpersonal skills and measures bottom-line impact on team performance. We integrate data and AI with a science-based curriculum to sustainably develop skills and provide customers with proof of ROI. We have early traction with paying customers, including GSA and Northwestern Mutual and are currently speaking with global enterprise customers to work with us as design partners.
We are looking for a hands-on, full-stack tech lead to join and lead the design and implementation of product v2, and beyond. We need to rapidly evolve to a more adaptable and responsive tech delivery system, level up our AI features, and scale.
Projects: Specifically, what are the expectations?
● First week:
o Learn about the product and meet the team, daily touch-ins with founder
o Familiarize yourself with the tech stack and begin deploying product v2
o Thoroughly test existing aspects of product v2
● First 3 months
o Deploy product v2
o Lead weekly tech meetings, plan out sprints, mentor junior engineers as needed
o Create a product roadmap and begin iterating
o Support successful onboarding of major customers
o Develop resilient new features with quick turn-around to impress our customers
o Identify areas of improvement in the product and take initiative to resolve them
o Daily touch-ins with founder
● First 6 months
o Scale our tech team as the product grows
o Be a major contributor to AwakeTeams’ success
Skills and Qualifications:
● Expertise in Python, REACT, database hosting and data visualization
● Expertise in migration to a cloud-based provider (e.g., AWS)
● Experienced with AI andLLMs
● Experience optimizing and improving upon existing statistical models
● Have developed products from zero-to-one and successfully delivered to market
● Familiarity with enterprise software and security requirements
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
● Experience growing products from zero-to-one as well as one-to-hundred
● Built and/or exited early-stage startup(s)
